Voice AI Receptionist
The call you miss at 9 pm is the expensive one.
The Voice AI receptionist answers your business line on the first ring, 24 hours a day, in English or Spanish. It qualifies the caller, books the job onto your calendar, and writes the contact, the notes, and the appointment into your CRM. When a call needs a person, it hands it off with everything it learned.
Included in AI Growth Engine. Offered as a 30-day free trial on every AI Ignite plan.

One call, three businesses
The first one to answer gets the job.
A homeowner with a problem calls down the list. Here is how the same evening goes for three companies.
You, with AiVantEdge
Answered
Picked up on the first ring, 6:41 pm. Asked the two questions that matter, offered tomorrow between 8 and 10, texted the confirmation. Job booked.
Business B
Voicemail
Rang out. The caller listened to the greeting, hung up without leaving a message, and dialed the next number.
Business C
Hung up
Rang out. By the time anyone saw the missed call the next morning, the job was on your calendar.
Scripted illustration, not a measurement. 82% of consumers say they would call a competitor if a business didn't pick up (CallRail consumer survey, n=1,000, Sept 2025, vendor survey).[1]
Who is calling now
The next caller might be an AI.
When an assistant calls five businesses at once for a price and an open slot, the one that answers gets the booking. Voicemail is not an answer.
What it is
It is a receptionist, not a phone tree
Nobody presses 1. The caller talks, the AI listens, and the job gets booked. It runs on your services, your service area, and your rules.
What it does
- Answers on the first ring, 24/7 — after hours, at peak, and when the office line is busy.
- Speaks English or Spanish, in whichever language the caller uses.
- Qualifies before it books: service area, job type, and how urgent it is.
- Writes the contact, the notes, and the appointment into your CRM.
- Hands emergencies and anything it does not understand to a human, with the caller’s details and notes attached.
- Trained on your services, your service area, your pricing rules, and your FAQs before it takes a single call.
What it does not do
- It does not make callers press buttons or repeat themselves to a menu.
- It does not guess at prices. It quotes only what you told it to quote and books an estimate for the rest.
- It does not claim to be a person. If a caller asks, it says it is the after-hours assistant.
- It does not replace your office. It covers the hours and the calls your office cannot reach.
What you get after every call
- A confirmation text to the caller with the appointment time.
- A notification to you with the caller’s name, number, and a short summary.
- The recording and transcript on the contact record, so you can read the call before you call back.
How it works
From ringing phone to booked job
Your published number does not change. You decide when the AI picks up: after a set number of rings, outside your hours, or on every call.
Any hour
The phone rings
A homeowner calls at 9 pm. Your office is closed, or the line is busy, or you are under a house. The call forwards to the AI instead of voicemail.
Ring 1
It answers on the first ring
It greets the caller by your business name and asks how it can help. If the caller speaks Spanish, it switches.
On the call
It qualifies
Where is the property, what is the job, and how urgent is it. It knows what you do, where you go, and what you will not take.
On the call
It books
It offers open slots from your calendar, confirms one, and texts the caller the appointment. For jobs that need a quote, it books the estimate visit.
After the call
It writes everything down
Contact, notes, appointment, recording, and transcript land in your CRM. You get a notification with the summary.
Any time
It hands off when it should
Emergencies and questions outside its training go to your on-call number with the details already captured. If nobody picks up, it takes the message, flags it urgent, and texts you.
Your numbers, not ours
How much is the unanswered phone costing you?
Put in your own figures: calls missed in a week, average ticket, close rate. The calculator does the arithmetic. No industry averages dressed up as your results.
Side by side
A receptionist covers 40 hours. The phone rings for 168.
A good receptionist is worth every dollar. The problem is the other 128 hours a week, and the second caller when the first one is still on the line.
| A receptionist | The Voice AI receptionist | |
|---|---|---|
| Hours covered each week | 40 of 168. | All 168. |
| Simultaneous calls | One. The second caller waits, hears a busy signal, or gets voicemail. | Many at once. Nobody waits. |
| Languages | Depends on who you hire. | English and Spanish, on every call. |
| Sick days, vacation, turnover[6] | Real, and each replacement costs about $4,700 to hire (SHRM, 2022). | None. |
| Cost[7] | Roughly $54,000 a year in wages and benefits, and about $59,000 in the first year once hiring costs are added. That is an AiVantEdge estimate: the BLS median wage of $38,010 (May 2025) ÷ (1 − 0.301 benefits share, BLS March 2026), plus SHRM’s $4,700 average cost per hire (2022). The sources are listed at the foot of the page. Miami-area wages may differ. | A fraction of that, billed monthly — see the offer card. |

What was installed
- A Voice AI receptionist on their inbound line, with the CRM, pipelines, calendars, and digital termite agreements behind it, so a call about a tenting job becomes a booked inspection and a signed agreement
We do not publish client numbers: no lead counts, no answer rates, no revenue. None of our clients has consented to that, and we will not invent it. What we can show is what was built, sample calls on this page, and a live demo on the call.
Questions owners ask before they put it on their line
Does it sound like a robot?
No. It is a natural voice that talks in full sentences and waits for the caller to finish, not a text-to-speech menu. It will not be mistaken for your office manager and it does not try to be. Sample calls are on this page, and we run a live demo on the call.
What happens when it cannot answer a question?
It says so and hands off. Anything outside what it was trained on goes to a person, with the caller’s name, number, and notes already captured. If nobody is available, it takes the message, flags it, and texts you. It does not improvise an answer.
Does it work in Spanish?
Yes. The Voice AI receptionist is available in English and Spanish and answers in the language the caller uses. Confirmation texts and follow-up sequences can be written in either language.
What about emergencies?
You decide what counts as an emergency for your trade: an active leak, no cooling in a house with an infant, a live termite swarm. Those calls transfer to your on-call number right away, with the details already captured. If the transfer is not picked up, the caller’s information and the urgent flag reach you by text and in your CRM within seconds.
Do I have to change my phone number?
No. Your published number stays the same. Calls forward to the AI after a set number of rings, outside your hours, or on every call, whichever you choose. Text messages go out from a business number registered under A2P 10DLC, and anyone who replies STOP is removed.
What happens to the recording?
Each call is recorded and transcribed onto the caller’s contact record in your CRM, so you can read what was said before you call back. Recordings live in your own sub-account, not in a shared pool. Florida requires all-party consent for recording, so the greeting tells callers the call may be recorded.
